What a shame

I think it's not up to my expectation.
The scenario is: all of whom I passed by in the first half of the race outran me in the second half. What does that imply? I overestimated myself and went too fast at the beginning.
I need to keep this bad experience in mind until the scm full marathon.
Also, I need to keep an execution plan in my mind when doing this kind of long distance running.
